Is it possible to view an extended brief of a change made to PICED?

For example, 14212 Improved repeat schedules. I was expecting the repeat feature to be modified, not an additional feature repeat.
Speaking of which, is it possible to have a repeat that doesn't start with a set date, a repeat that starts from when the schedule begins? For example, an irrigation schedule that waters every three days. It would be good if it started after the third day, not every third day from a set date.

Would be great to know which changes are a high priority for the next release also.

No. If you have questions about any of them, just quote the number and we can look up the database.

This is not a new feature. The repeat time schedule option now has a start and finish time.

When you say "after the third day", what exactly do you mean?

We have avoided doing this in the past because priorities change and we don't want to make promises we can't keep.

    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry I went from 4.4 to 4.6 might of missed some additions by jumping a version.

Example, after one week of being away from home the irrigation schedule starts which is a repeat of 3 days (advanced view 'day of month' set to 'repeat' with repeat schedule set to 'Every 3 days'). The every 3 days works off a starting date which is fixed. So it may be one week and 3 days before the irrigation schedule works. Instead of a fixed starting time, have the every 3 days start when the schedule starts.
Possibly an easier way to do this?

I thought that would be the case. I asked because the RSS feature is listed with a number but can I possibly hope to see it this year or ? It will allow for great clean weather and news displays.

Can you copy a page from one project to another existing project? If not, can this be a request. Often I want to copy a button layout or object layout from one project to a new existing project (I cant do a save as and start again).

This isn't quite how it works. From the help file ("Schedule Day" topic):

    Does this answer your question?

Yes. You can save a page as a template, then open it in another project.

I have just added the following to the help file to explain this in detail.

    Problem

How can parts of a PICED Project be copied to another Project?

    Solution

The Pages, Scenes, Schedules, Logic and other aspects of one project can easily be re-used in another project by using templates. There are two ways of doing this, as discussed below.

    Saving as a Template

The first method is to save part of a project as a Template. This Template can then be re-used in any future Project. To save the currently displayed Page as a Template:
    1. Select the File | Save Page As Template menu item
    2. Select the aspects to be saved
    3. Click on OK
    4. Enter a file name
    5. Click on Save

To save other aspects of a Project as a Template:
    1. Select the File | Save As Template menu item
    2. Select the aspects to be saved
    3. Click on OK
    4. Enter a file name
    5. Click on Save

To add a saved Template to another project:
    1. Open the other project
    2. Select the File | Add Template Contents menu item
    3. Select the aspects to be added
    4. Click on OK
    5. Select the Template
    6. Click on Open

Loading Another Project as a Template

It is not strictly necessary to save parts of a Project as a Template before it can be re-used. You can load parts of another project, as if it were a Template:
    1. Open the other project
    2. Select the File | Add Template Contents menu item
    3. Select the aspects to be added
    4. Click on OK
    5. In the Files of Type list, select Project Files
    6. Select the Project to copy from
    7. Click on Open
