    Wireless worries!

    Hi Conor1
I'm no wireless expert  , and came across your Q while hoping to answer my own!
Not sure about your switches freezing & not responding. I am having a similar problem, Got mine all talking to the wireless gateway and into toolkit, but only when they are in learn mode, can't see them now they are out of learn mode.
To your other problem, CH2 only working when CH1 is on from what you state. That may be due to the minimum load (25W, 0.1A) required for each channel. Your fan may be smaller than required for the channel leakage current to operate, when CH1 is on there is enough "power to the unit" for it to operate. The 1uf Cap may solve your problems.
See the details in the installation instructions, pages 6 & 15. link provided

Conor1, you're probably not at the minimum required load on Channel 1. Try adding a bypass capacitor across the channel 1 load, e.g. 1uF cap.

Matthew, you need to learn your units into a network AND assign a group address to one of the channels using the learn procedure before the units will show up in Toolkit. Up until that point they are not active members of the network. That's probably why you can't see them in Toolkit.

To assign a group address to a dimmer/relay channel without linking it to another unit just enter Learn as normal, press a local channel button on the unit (the channel and LED will turn on) then exit Learn. Then try scanning using Toolkit.

    Hate to be a burden...

Also, if you do not have any other 'wired' components, make sure the clock and burden are active in the gateway.
