Hi Poldim, I need a little more info to try and figure this out.

    Q1. Is C-Gate running?

    1) Start Menu > Clipsal > C-Gate2 > Connect to C-Gate

    2) telnet localhost 20023

If one of these establishes a connection to C-Gate, then yes, C-Gate is running and the problem is in Toolkit. If these don't work, then C-Gate isn't running (despite what the service says) - and we'll need to dig further.

Q2. Is this a fresh C-Bus Toolkit installation or an upgrade from a prior version? If so, which version?

As a last resort, you can try going to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs, and uninstall both Toolkit and C-Gate entries, go to Services and make sure the C-Gate service is removed or stopped, reboot, and install Toolkit again. This is because typically when we have seen the odd problem of this nature it is due to something going awry during the installation.
