    All

I have got some issues with cbus and I am not sure what to do.

One of my 8 Channel dimmers seems to be playing up. It has been installed for about 2.5 years and has been running fine until last week.

It started with individual zones flickering a couple of days ago. I pulled the power and re-powered and everything was OK.

I am now having the same issues again this evening. As well I have a number of zones within the same room, the faulty dimmer zones when set to 50% are much dimmer than the others running from working dimmers.
Finally when switching off the zones on the faulty dimmer they turn off but flicker just before going off.

I am planning to power off the whole cbus system but apart from this I have no other ideas to troubleshoot.

    Any help would be appreciated?

    Regards
    Ben

How many lamps per channel and what type of loads are connected to each of the dimmer channels?
Are any of the dimmer channels working properly.
Are you able to rule out faulty wiring, electronic transformers or lamps?

Can you provide some more info?

    - What sort of load is it driving?
    - Is the problem same on all channels?
    - What is the total loading per channel?
    - Is it all the time or only intermittent?

These days just about everyone has a phone that can do video.. can you provide a link to a video of this happening?

You may need to expand a little on the load.

What transformers, Iron core or electronic and brand and model if possible

    How may on each channel.

Loading is not only watts, but capacitance has to be taken into consideration, hence the need to know more information.
