I know it is not released and you may not say much....

    But....

I assume the "C-BUS infrared output (2 Zones)" is basically a 5034NIRT inside the box.

and the Infrared Distribution systems interface with the new 8050 series ??

Also is the 400mw CBUS power supply going to be able to be disabled ??

The amount of power will blow the CBUS power budget in alot of existing installations.

    Yes.

I have no idea what you mean here. The infrared distrubution system behaves like a StarServe by simply replaying anything read from the (one or more) readers out the single transmitter.

Technically it can as it's a seperate board inside the box with a simple cable to the internal PCI circuitry. However, I wonder if opening the box to pull the cable would mean voiding warranty. Quite possibly.

What I mean is the new CAT 5 repeater system (ON THE NEW PRODUCT SHEET) Not the COAX star server method

How about a little switch on the side or bottom. (CBUS Power supply disable)

Seeing as this product is already late, I don't think changes to the design at this stage will go down very well.

I meant it behaved in functionality like starserver. The new system is digital and transported using cat 5 cable as you say.

This project is extremely high priority and only critical changes would be considered. However, I will make sure your suggestion is noted for a future revision.
