Ok, so I'm stupid! I have Homegate v1.3 which I have upgraded with the v2.5 download. So far, so good - I can paint pretty pictures and make CBus groups go on and off.

Next step, is to get it working via a browser. So, time to look at ServerX. The "ServerX Programmer's Guide" tells me to install it, but not where to find it. I've had a look at the Homegate CD and it's not immediately obvious on there.

So, in short, I need to know where to find it!

I guess there is a subsidiary question around whether using ServerX is still the right way to be going.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Maybe ServerX is related to Racer X?
Speed always had trouble nailing him.

I think ServerX was included on the HomeGate V2 CD-ROM, it isn't part of the downloaded upgrade to V2.5. It's not on the V1.x HomeGate CD-ROM either. Maybe a nice CIS guy can help??

    That sounds plausible (thanks).....

.....seems odd though that I have a version of Homegate with, apparently, no way of actually using it?!?!?!?

    Thanks guys,

    Nick

I'm sure some one does, but they may not be monitoring the Forum or may have missed the question. This forum is not an official support channel and I would recommend contacting Tech Support direct if you need an answer in a timely fashion.

Server X is developed by one of our malaysian engineering teams which is why you probably haven't got a repsonse as the engineers on this forums are all Australian based and of course cover the locally developed products (which is most of them).

This is correct. If you haven't already got ServerX from Tech Support, contact them to see if it is on the HomeGate demo version CD.

Server X is on CD version 2.0

I have Homegate 2.0 and Server X is on that.
Not that I can get it to work but I can email it to you if you like. Its only 4 meg or something small like that.
