I have been downloading the basic CAD drawings from Clipsal and creating my Clipsal wiring layout in AutoCAD.
Some modules I edited to give a better representation for wiring.
It is good for a flow chart on what goes where.
I would like to upload to share to others to use but the C-Bus forum will not accept .dxf or .dwg extensions.

    Thanks

I suggest you still include a PDF copy as well as the dxf & dwg versions otherwise people who do not have Autocad (or another CAD program) on their PC will not be able to view them.

This will provide the maximum opportunity to share info. with everyone.

Its just a rectangle drawn around 5 relays - there is nothing in it worth uploading - that is just my opinion though.

We really just want the C-bus units, and once you have one, the rest are fairly simple to create - take the shutter relay, just shorten the 12m relay to two module and move some of the LED's around. Should take all of 5 minutes to do.

Granted if you don't know how to use autocad then this is not the case, but I am not sure if the cad drawings are of any use if you don't know how to use cad either.

I will look for my cad images later tonight. I have some Saturn switches and a few other simple things I did for my documentation.

If there is something specific that someone wants I can probably know it up fairly quickly. Good enough to look pretty anyway.

True, but it's a nice rectangle with some pretty coloured lines attached...:)>

I agree as a .pdf is a quick way for the public to see.
But during the design stage, having a CAD drawing you can pick & place like Lego?s. once finalized then copy as a PDF.

True on just chopping a Din module and a few edits.
However when you want to make not only the low voltage C-Bus but the high voltage layouts and want to make idiot proof having a module with real life & detail look in 2D helps.

I take the basic module & look at a real unit and edit in AutoCAD to have the true pin-out and designation.

A link that has multiple Clipsal CAD drawings in which I based on.

If the form would have like a bucket and / or have server space to upload and keep it would be nice to post public .dwg / .dxf /. pdf files for others to download when needed.

    Thanks
