can not save to unit !!! help

I am having a problem with saving to physical units from toolkit

every thing was fine yesterday, but no I can scan the network but if I try to save changes to units it?s just does not work

I have tried every thing I can think of any Ideas ???

Not sure what the issue is.. but can you tell me:

Does it happen on all units?
Is there any error messages?
What version of the software are you using?
Have you shut down Toolkit and CGate and tried again?
Have you rebooted the machine and tried again?
Do the physical units load OK when you double click on them?

But from your description it does sound lke your network may have very marginal communications.

 

I'm thinking network burden, or lack there of.

I am using an plugin Network burden, and even with just the CNI pluged wita a cbus cable to just one 12 channel relay, it?s the same, have also tried to remove the burden, but no change

but like I said In my post, if I use the "scan new" insted of "scan network" every thing works fine

 

Sorry I didn't know what was posted as Duncan has been busy experimenting and has removed that post.

Try downloading V2 and see what happens if you haven't tried doing that already it may be worth a go.

Scan New generates VERY little traffic on the network. Scan Network generates lots of traffic.. if Scan New works and Scan Network fails then the culprit is almost certainly poor communications on the Network.

So checking clocks, burdens, voltages etc would be the thing to do.
