Usually I just worry about the software side of things but I'm being asked for advice on cable runs.

I have an application where a number of new input units will be distributed around an area which is already C-Bus controlled, ie cable runs going from a single existing riser location (where the existing relays are) to only supply sensors, switches, etc. In total we should be adding 20-off PEIRLs, 10-off bus couplers and 2-off C-Touch MkII. I have calculated this as 750mA and we have 3 PSUs.

The question is whether we need to run cable out to some devices then come back to the riser periodically to insert power supplies along the runs, or whether we can just run spurs out to input devices from the riser (and if so what sort of maximum lengths those runs could be)?
