Left our office C-Touch off for about 4 weeks. Cam eback to use and found it not responding to touches.

Uploading new firmware 2.2 and project - managed to get past the Clipsal Welcome screens by touching screen then nothing.

Created a calibration only page with a full size button and uploaded - got to the calibration screen - BUT regardless of how accurately i click the crosshairs it always says calibration failed.

vertical calibration seems ok - but horizontal seems about 60mm a drift. I have done the connect/transfer/reset calibration but this doesnt seem to do anything.

Has my screen gone wrong ?????

    Thanks

    Dean.

I would say it is most likely to be a hardware failure. It will need to be returned for exchange.

    C-Touch Calibration help wanted

We have a customer who has to recalibrate their C-Touch every few weeks.
    1. can the customer cause this trouble?
    2. can interference on the CBus network cause this?
    3. Can poor cable termination cause this?
    4. Is it faulty hardware?
    5. are there more possibilities?
I love problem-solving but I would appreciate a little help with this one.
    cheers
