Hi I was wondering if anyone can assist me? I have a network in which I have now exceeded the maximum number of group addresses in the lighting application and have created another application in the correct range ie: not a reserved application.
I require the touch screen to perform some logic when the groups are turned on and off, this works fine for groups in the lighting application (56) but the touch screen ignores anything in my new application. Is the touch screen limited to an application like a neo switch for example or is there a way to have the touch screen listen for other application broadcasts or have a secondary application like DLT switches allow?

According to the PICED Help File, the B&W C-Touch can control up to 10 Applications. Can you please give more information about your problem?

I am using a colour touch screen, controlling applications is fine from the touch screen, but I need the touch screen to react to events on the network. and it seems to just ignore any messages to do with my new application. I can log the groups turning on/off with tool kit but the log on the touch screen shows nothing with everything being logged. So my only conclusion is that the touch screen is ignoring anything other than selected applications, whether that is through is design or just a programming option I have missed I don't know?

    Hi,

A few things that might help:
Have you tried adding some buttons to the project to see if you can control/receive the groups on the new application from the touchscreen?

Within Logic, check you are using the GetCBusLevel() function rather than the shortcut GetLightingLevel(), with the correct application specified.

Let us know what you find...

    Cheers,
    Mark.

    Hi Mark

Thanks for the tips, I am using GetCBusState to monitor the groups being on or off, do you think CbusLevel is better? I have some test butons on the touch screen for the groups in my new application, which when turned on will run my code perfectly.

I haven't tried logging with toolkit whilst turning the groups on and off with the touch screen. I will give that a go.

    Cheers

    Sam

Can you tell us the version of HomeGate running in the Colour C-Touch?

Check the project summary to see if it reports that this application is being used by the project. If not, you might need to make sure that something (other than logic) is using this other application. Adding a button to a page to control/display a group on this application should be enough.

    Thanks Darren

I am using homegate version 4.7.1 at the moment, I notice 4.7.2 is available now. I will check the project summary.

    Cheers
