I have assigned some dummy groups to keys on my 5034NIR 4 key IR input units to trigger minder scenarios and devices.

I am trying to toggle these dummy groups in C-Gate but they are not listed or recognised, while groups assigned to an 5032N are recognised. All the 5034NIR's show state=error too.

    Tree gives the folowing results:
    Code:
201 Service ready: null Version: v1.5.1.3 (build 1099)
    tree 1
    320- Network name:1 type=Serial address=COM4 state=sync
    320- Unit count=0
    320- Units:
    320-p/1/0 ($0) type=PC_INT_1 app=255($ff),255($ff) state=ok groups=
    320-p/1/1 ($1) type=PC_MIND2 app=255($ff),255($ff) state=ok groups=
    320-p/1/2 ($2) type=KEYIR4 app=56($38),255($ff) state=error groups=
    320-p/1/3 ($3) type=KEYIR4 app=56($38),255($ff) state=error groups=
    320-p/1/8 ($8) type=KEY2 app=56($38),255($ff) state=ok groups=33,32,40,41
    320-p/1/9 ($9) type=SENPIRSS app=56($38),255($ff) state=ok groups=50,51
    320-p/1/16 ($10) type=KEYIR4 app=56($38),255($ff) state=error groups=
    320-p/1/17 ($11) type=KEYIR4 app=56($38),255($ff) state=error groups=

    etc.
Any ideas why the KEYIR4 state=error or why assigned groups are not recognised?

    Hi Dylan,

I've had someone look at this issue.. and you're right.. CGate doesnt support the KEYIR4 very well does it.. I'll arrange a fix to be posted on the web.. it may take us a week or so to code the fix and test it. Will let you know when its done.

    KEYIR4 firmware versions

I think they use a different class to describe the different firmware versions of KEYIR4 unit. You should type this in the command interface and see what comes up:

    get p/1/2 ClassName
    get p/1/2 Version

when you get an answer could you append a message with the results? I'd be interested in seeing what comes up.

Sorry about the delay. Here are the responses.
    Code:
    get p/1/2 ClassName
    300 p/1/2: ClassName=com.clipsal.cgate.cbus.CBus2InputUnit
    get p/1/2 Version
    300 p/1/2: Version=1.00
