I'm looking to replace some of my wall switches with Saturn switches and a couple of DLT's. Does anyone have any recommendations on the cheapest place to buy C-Bus gear from? Either a website or shop.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

    Hi OxleyDave,

You might want to consider putting in some of the new Saturn eDLTs rather than/in addition to standard Saturns / DLTs. Close in price to the current DLTs but colour and with many more groups and features they will be great to use for MRA etc. Should be shipping soon based on some other posts on here. eDLT Tech Overview

As for C-Bus product supply, you are best buying from the person/company who best supports you in your installation, which is usually whoever installed it or who will be supporting it/you going forward. They should be able to provide you the same pricing as any online store. In C-Bus as in life, you get what you pay for.

    Regards,

    Brad

I've bought stuff from Ross at cbussales, and his prices have always been reasonable.

Service has always been good too.

And no, I don't have any connection to him.

    Cheers

I have made a couple of purchases off Ross, but the last time (which was 3 years ago now) he told me that in the future he couldn't sell C-bus products to me without doing any value add work, as it was a condition imposed by Clipsal.

Looks like what I said above is still the case.

The following is on the front page of their website

Pity because it was quite handy way of doing business. No great biggie for me though in my line of work (data comms) I deal with my local TLE and L&H regularly so both have given me trade price on my last few (albeit small value) C-bus purchases.

I have used them too when I lived in the UK. I brought some older style sensors at a reasonable price through their 'old stock' page in 2010 then shipped them home when I moved back. Clearly they don't have the same restriction as Ross's Australian shop does.

Their prices though are (now) a little more expensive and of course if you live in Australia it might be hard to get them to deliver to here. It is interesting to see that they sell not only the UK E series square switches but the Australian rectangular ones too.

One other place worth looking at is good old EBAY.
