C-Bus on alternator

    Is there any problems running a C-Bus system off an alternator?

    The alternator is a 7 kva unit powered by a 4 stroke engine. It has a noticeable dip in line voltage when starting heavy loads (eg starting a fridge).

    The C-Bus system contains both relay and dimmer units.

    My main concern is causing any damage to the C-Bus system but am wondering if there are any other issues.
