    Hiya All,

Is there an easy way to display the current measurement from the Sunny Boy Inverters?

These have Bluetooth and RS485 out and wondered if we could interface and display this data on touch screens or wiser instead of using the 5504CMU

    Cheers

I looked into this about two years ago and from memory I could not get the protocol docs for the serial interface.

[From a high level] If you can get them you should be able to use a PAC to receive the serial data sent out from the SB and convert that into a value that you can display on the screen.

You will need to conver the RS485 to RS232 but that is trivial.
