C-Bus B&W Touch Screen as 3rd party screen

    I would like to use a C-Bus B&W touch screen on an existing 3rd party lighting system (using serial comms only). However do I still need a C-Bus power supply or could I use a 30V DC plug pack to power screen?

    You must use a C-Bus power supply. It is quite different from a regular DC power supply. A regular DC power supply could damage the C-Touch.

    This one of the reasons C-Bus products are labelled with "WARNING: This unit must be used with CLIPSAL C-Bus System only"
