Curious if anyone would see any value in this, it essentially bridges C-Bus networks over IP using 5500AC2's and Multicast. I have a similar version I’ve been working on for CNI Comms between a 5500AC2 and CNI's but this is more configurable.

Currently it’s just for internal use, but curious to see if anyone would see any value in it as i was considering developing it further and possibly releasing it with a device license of some kind.

Sign me up, looks like your using multiple automation controllers? and not using the CNI's now?
lucky I have a brand new spare 1 sitting waiting for my next lightning strike now I might be able to oppto isolate my network into smaller cbus networks.
Where is this up to at the moment, seems like there has been a huge leap forward in the last 3 months since I was on here last, time to update firmware and start looking into these new apps that are becoming available.
All I want for my 50th birthday in 2 weeks is Cbus IP bridges.

This is very interesting, I may have a project coming up that this would be very useful for. Do you know how many controllers could sync. Can you PM me please

So KNX-style I’ve already created a module that detects and decodes KNX multicast :)

Does not yet bridge KNX messages, that needs some more thought. But will discover the KNX Peers and decode the packets if they are being sent on the same multicast ip and port.

The primary goal remains bridging C-bus networks over Ethernet, which has been a sorely lacking feature for quite a while.

    A Little more progress,

Added settings for IP White listing, Application Filtering, settings for status & heartbeat intervals and other backend fixes.
