    Hi all,

Just seeking some advice on the best way to setup my system for a small addition I want to add. I have a spare ELV relay that I use to set a flag that someone is in the house (could have use a virtual one but I had one spare). This starts a time in logic that resets it back after 12 hrs of no activity. Therefore scheduled events like garden lights only happen when someone is home.

My question is - I have two bell press buttons that open things like the front pedestrian gate and I was wonder if there was a way to have the function of the light switch button only work when the "Activity" relay is set.

    Thanks Glen

If you are controlling the gates etc with a relay that supports logic, you could just set up an AND function for each output.

Thanks Ashley, The gate relay is linked to the switch directly via toolkit so I am not sure how I get the logic involved in this. Am I best to trigger a scene in the C-touch and embed the logic in this or is there a better way?

ELV with 12V - Button is a timer and holds the ELV open for a small period.

The ELV relay supports logic, so go to the relay in toolkit, select the logic tab, on the top line select the channel the gate is on, select your ACTIVITY group from the drop down list and select AND. If the ACTIVITY group is off it will disable the switch.
