Hi, i've installed cbus in my house and being an old style i installed heritage surface switches connected to 2 & 4 channell bus couplers. The problem i'm having is that a switch turns on a light, but when turning off from another switch it takes a double action ( on/off or off/on ).The couplers are set as bell press which works better than having them as just on/off. I have several 2 ways & intermediate switchings in the house so it is becoming very frustrating.
    Help Tommy.

what version are your bus couplers? If they are recent ones, there is a 'bistable' switch option available, which should go a long way toward fixing your problem.

If you have early bus couplers (version 1.2.67), you should still be able to get what you want by customising the key press commands in the channel functions tab in the advanced view. If you configure 'Toggle' functions for just press (short press), 'Toggle' for long release and 'Toggle' for short release, then every time the switch changes state, you will get a change of load state, just like conventional two-way switching.

What the more recent bus couplers can do for you in addition to the above behavior as a 'standard', is a way of ensuring that the state is asserted at power-up correctly, even if you have no dimmers or relay units in your system to save the last state.

I've got a similar setup in my place...

I know a point one who can sort this out for you. (if you live in Vic)
He did a great job with heritage switches in a similar setup at my place...
