An old one of mine but can we please incorporate scenes into the bus couplers and can we please have the 2 channel units available in the UK.

Schneider keep letting us that CBUS is marketed in the UK at least to highend residential (as well as commercial). The residential market has a different set of requirements some people dont want to use any of the CBUS switches they prefer a different style and want everything (wall sockets switches, RJ points, TV points speaker points etc) to match so we end up using a lot of bus coiplers with momentarry switches.

Sorry. Release dates are not presented on this forum. It has a tendancy to cause disappointment.

Suffice it to say we are aware of the demand but for many other reasons, coding has not yet begun. I'm hoping to have an internal prototype by the end of this year :)

No work is being done on this product at this time. If you desparately need to have scenes from bus coupler inputs then you can always use bus couplers to trigger scenes stored in a Neo/Saturn/Reflection/DLT/Scene Master/C-Touch/PAC somewhere else on the network.

    Ashleigh,

How about a bus coupler with scenes, logic, LCD screen, IE browser, video inputs & wait for it........ multi room audio

When do you think this product will hit the shelves?

Sorry everybody - I cannot give dates.

Audio system is in development and believe me, it's getting a vast amount of attention.

The bus coupler with scenes is on the roadmap. We know there is a demand.

We have the process for getting there worked out, we are working toward doing it. There are a bunch of things that need to be done before the bus coupler, though. Not because of priority, but to set the foundation firmware in place for the bus coupler with scenes.

Bus Coupler and scenes stored in C-Touch

If you use Bus coupler triggered scenes stored in C-Touch, the great benefit for end user is user can very simply edit stored scenes, without any help from installer(and without extra charge :)). User can adjust light levels in scene from C-Touch with press and hold related button on C-Touch Screen.
IMHO, it is unique and very useful feature.

    Gday sergio,
Its true that it benefits the end user knowing how to edit scenes in Ctouch, however this then means that the database files the programer has are not current. Then the client gets into trouble and needs to call the installer who is not aware the user has been in changing program details and when he downloads his program its changes everything back to the original programe, and then the end user would most probably expect the installer to then change the programing at no charge because it was fine befor he changed it . Everyones different but If you show the client how to get in and edit scenes , next thing he/shes changing schedules then he/shes is ringing the poor installer to fix the cbus thats playing up that if you ask them "They never played with anything ".Then you charge the client to fix the site and get it working and the customers pays. Its easier to get the client to use the installer to make changes .at least then there are up to date back files of the project .
