Why does every other switch apart from the bus coupler have a scene set?

A majority of our customers (UK market) really dont like the CBUS design of switches. We usually end up using momentary switched and the bus coupler.
Can the scene set be added to the coupler menu in V3?

This is not the case, only the Neo, Saturn and Reflection key switches support Scenes (apart from the old 5034NS)

The Bus Coupler core is derived from the C-Bus core used in all the standard range of switches, i.e. the 5034 series of switches. As such the Scene capability is not in the firmware and can't be simply turned on by a menu item.

The Scene functionality doesn't come for free. There is an increase in the core cost and this cost would have to be passed on via an increase in Bus Coupler pricing.

Our UK clients must be easier to please,

If you install a c-touch scenes can be created on that unit, and the bus coupler can be addressed to trigger the scene.

Scenes created can be much more advanced than those created on a keyinput, which after all is very limited
