Is there any documentation on building a custom skin for Wiser ?

Specifically, I would like to add some ICONS to the wiser GUI.
I have played around with adding/copying images in both

    PICED\Image Library\wiser\skin
    PICED\Templates\Wiser\skin

But they do not get loaded into PICED.
I suspect there is a template building tool.
    Anyone able to help?

    NOTE:
I only want to add, or replace, 4 of the icons.

    Thanks in advance.

My understanding is that the skins are designed and built by hand and that there's no template building tool. I think the icons are all aggregated together in a single swf so you'd need to find a way to edit that. I'm not sure that's feasible. The only thing I've seen as customizable is the background image.

    Hi Kjayakumar,

I appreciate the quick reply, but it makes me wonder why there are the two directories I refer to above. They are both included when you unzip PICED. Why include the "Image Library" at all, if there is no tool for converting it into a "Template" ?

If you look in one of the Template Folders, there is a file: skin_definitions.xml, it seems like a manageable project to decipher the parameters, but I am hoping for a tool or builder.

It would go a long way toward the customization of Wiser without being too daunting a task..

Hopefully someone else on this thread might know of something.

    Thanks for the try.....

The images in the image library are for use with other projects (such as Colour C-Touch) if you want them to look like the Wiser user interface.

It is possible to incorporate your own icons, but it involves modifying the skin_definitions file and modifying the flash files. Details of how to do this have not been published. There is no tool provided to enable you to do this.

It is on the list of things to do.
