Has anyone got this working or do people only ever use lighting only?

If so, which plugin are you using?

    Thanks so much.

To be clear, I mean opening and closing shutter relays, and changing temperature set point on a C-Bus 5070 thermostat using Home Assistant.

Given that the Cbus thermostats were discontinued around 10 years ago and they were the only devices that ever used the Cbus HVAC applications it is unlikely anyone will ever create a plugin for HA that supports them. Your only solution is create some logic in a touch screen or PAC that converts the HVAC application to something supported by HA (e.g. the lighting app). One group address can read the temperature and another read/write the setpoint.

As for the shutter relay, it's already on the lighting app so just treat it as a light.
