Blind control

    I am about to purchase motorized curtain tracks and blinds.
    I have had a number of quotes but the best motors I can see are either Somfy or Birk.
    I have read a number of threads here about control of these motors and I was wondering if people had experience between the two Brands.
    I would like both options position control just by holding a button on until desired position is reached or Bell press for fully open/closed.
    Which Motor is the better option?

    My preference would be Somfy.

    Just use a changeover relay (or blind controller if it has been released) wire it and program it correctly and you will have trouble free operation for many years to come.

    Sorry not answering your question but asking one. I am aware of Somfy but do you have a link to the Birk one?
