    Hi,

I'm just wondering what connectivity you guys have, if we have Beta Trials for upcoming software releases, are most of you comfortable with large downloads or are CD's still the preferred distribution method.

I've attached a Poll to this message as I'd love to see what penetration we have in our user community of broadband..

    Beta testing.
With the diverse range of installers, system designers and end users out here using your product, this is the only way to quicklyunearth most bugs (apologies to your programmers). Bring it on !!

Dowloads for sure. Even if the download is quite large, its still going to be quicker to leave the machine than order a cd in the mail

    What no fibre option?

I put us down as Cable as I guess it's the closest. Everything downloadable would suit us just fine.

    Downloads

Although I still use a Dial up connection at the moment , Downloads are the only way to update as CD distribution seems to have long delays

I am happy to download, but by the same token it would be nice to have a CD turn up at some later date.
The CD or DVD could contain all the latest releases as well as searchable help files, technical specifications of C-Bus equipment and example projects.
This would be useful on site where there is no Internet access to log on for help.
