    Hi folks
Not sure if there is any relation here, but about one month ago I had a Goodwe Battery installed at home onto my existing solar system (solar about 6 years old).

Have now noticed that lights, ceiling fans on my cbus system come on without notice, various times day & night, different items so there appear to be no rime or reason that i can pinpoint.

Not even sure if any relationship.

The battery is 48kWh, located in my garage so a distance away from my CBus board and I didn't at this point get the battery installer to link any power points, Lighting or AC etc to run off the battery if there is a power outage, i just have one power point in my metre box to plug into in case of outage.

Has anyone had anything like this occur, or may it just be a coincidence and the CBUs has a fault somewhere

    Steve

    Hi
I am running a 30Kwh Alpha Battery and 5Kw inverter with 14 Kw solar panels and cbus runs everything and I have no problems at all. Do you have touch screen, wiser,PAC or something like that running schedules or logic if so did you have power off for battery install then maybe something has not reset correctly when power was restored.

Thanks for the quick response, Graham
I do have a touch screen and use the tool kits to alter my network & data now and then, but nothing on time schedules etc, i will reload the last back up i did and see if that works.

When the installers did the work, they commented that on my cbus sub board the RCDs would need to be changed out for all the circuits as they wouldn't be compatible to allow some that i may want to have running off the battery when or if power went out, thus the reason i just did one external power point as a back up for the monent.
