I'm from an av background, and haven't had much electrical experience. I've done the cbus intro and programming course, but haven't actually seen how the power is all wired up. I've figured out most of it, but I have 2 questions.

What is the A/L connection? I thought that the active came straight from the rails.

In the instruction manual for the 8ch dimmer, it has a load on channel 1 labelled as neutral. I thought that dimming was done on active?

Can someone please tell me where to find this basic info, as I think the courses have assumed an electrical background.

    Cheers.

    Electrical Connections

Leave the electrical connections up to ELECTRICIANS. You must be hold a electrical license to perform electrical work. After the connections have been made you can then play with the programming all you like.
