    Hello All,

I am looking for some advice. I am looking to turn my UK property into a house of Multiple Occupancy(HMO) One of the conditions for doing this is to ensure there is emergency lighting.

I ahve a very small C-bus set up of
    2 * L5508D1A
    1 * L5504D2A
    1* L5512RVF
    4 * 5085DL
    1 5500SHAC

My initial thoughts were to put this on a battery backup system with an automatic transfer switch. My electrician is unsure about this...he doesn't like Cbus......just because he hasn't worked on it before.

I thought I would ask here to see if any of you have done anything similar, especially in the UK.

Thanks for any replies in advanced.

Install seperate emergency lights and leave the C-Bus system as is.
Providing backup power for C-Bus and the loads would not be a cheap option.
