    Hi all,
Encountered this problem; my house has 2 c-touch black and white with logic. The project has received some new pages and so using Piced I proceeded to transfer the project. In Piced the project looks great with numerous pages dedicated to a theatre arrangement, these pages have white buttons on a black page so to keep excessive light to a minimum. When the screens are used I have noticed that 2 of the pages have reversed colour layout ie: what should be black is white and what should be white is black. I have since duplicated the page and transferred again but the same issue presents itself on an alternative page. So on and so on. Has anyone else encountered this problem. If not any suggested fixes.
    Regards
    Brad:confused:

Is the black and white the correct way around in the PICED project? In PICED you have the option to invert the used colours on a single page, or on the entire project, under the Page menu.

Whilst it might not explain exactly what's going on, you might be able to work around the problem by selecting the Negative Colours option in PICED for the problem pages.

This is the first time I have heard of this happening. Can you send your project archive to CIS Tech Support with details of the problem and ask them to forward it to me.

As Newman suggested, the Page | Negative Colours menu item can be used to invert the colours for a page. This just goes through the properties of all of the components on a page and changes white to black and vice versa. It isn't a separate property of the page that says to draw it "negative", so this doesn't seem to be a likely cause of the problem.

Upon further investigation, I can confirm:
All buttons, borders, labels, etc are of the correct colour ie: whether on a black or white page whatever they have been programmed to be in the project, when they are transferred they show correctly in the unit.
Two pages that are programmed to have a black background, have a white background, (I tried the negative colours, but not a good resolution). I am using 4.8.4, I have transferred the latest firmware.
Also I have not yet had to send a project so any further instructions on how to do this would be great.
    Regards
    Brad

Got the archive sorted and has been sent.
    Thanks for all your help
(I hope it isn't something stupid on my behalf, numerous C-bus guys have had a look with no luck however)

    Also happened on C-Touch (old)

    Hi Darren and Brad,

I have experience the same thing (one page went inverse) when I updated an old C-Touch (SC5000CT) with Piced 4.8.4, following the firmware update.

I was fortunate in that I got it sorted. The following was done:

I did NOT duplicate the offending page, instead created a new page and copied all components of the offending page into the new page.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I was wondering if this issue has been resolved?

    Cheers

This has been fixed (#19956). A new version of PICED will be available very soon.

There is a simple work-around which is to place a large black rectangle behind the components.
