Does Wiser accept class A or B IP address, the drop down menu shows class C net masks only, any way around this limitation?

Wiser currently only supports class C netmasks.

    Wiser IP address

Any plans to jail break the Wiser out of class C subnet? What is the reason for this limitation?

I can not speak for Clipsal but I imagine that Class-C introduces additional processing workload. This would be a disadvantage if you consider the processing needed for WISER control functions.

    Hi mazeem,

If you can use WISER via only WiFi connection, you can use Class C address.
But you can not use WITHER from both WAN and LAN.

If you can add local Router, you can use WISER under it.
The Router gives bridge function between Class B network and private Class C network.

    You should ask network specialist.
