ASCII codes

    Hi

    We are trying to integrate C-Bus with other systems such as security. How do we find out the C-Bus protocols or ASCII codes to make integration possible? Any thoughts appreciated.

    Option 1. You go to www.cbus-enabled.com and follow the prompts and get the public release protocol (its free, but has no support).

    Option 2. For something more sophisticated, you pay the fee to join the C-Bus Enabled program and get a full disclosure and access to technical support.

    Option 3. If you use Windows or Linux you can download a free cbus driver which comes complete with a huge API reference document, and just write C or Delphi code to use it. Again, free but no support.
