Airtopia, has to be the easiest solution for integrating the control of HVAC, control and feedback between C-Bus and split systems air conditioners, this has long been a challenging option for C-Bus with most settling to just enable/override the AC unit, Simple Off/Restore to last setting being the option for many as the effort to deliver a better solution as simply been too much.
Airtopia?s C-Bus enabled product makes it possible to add the level of integration of HVAC to C-Bus at level that will keep any customer happy, but your effort to achieve this is truly a minimum.

So what does adding a C-Bus Enabled Airtopia product to your C-Bus solution provide.
    1. Control of HVAC Inverter unit, from C-Bus including eDLT, Wiser II, Touch Screens, Software.
    2. Plant Status on C-Bus, Current State, Set Point Temperature, Mode of Operation, Fan Speed settings, all of which can be controlled.
    3. Room Temperature ? Measurements of the connected temp sensor on Airtopia are available on C-Bus.
    4. Plant Power, Measurement of Power from the connected CT on Airtopia are available to C-Bus.

Installing Airtopia to control the HVAC Plant.
    You Require:
    1. A network connection (Airtopia can be powered using POE or local plug pack)
    2. An Infra-Red Transmitter eye, (room blaster or local emitter are fine), it can be very easy to hide the emitter inside Split system Heads so the installation is invisible.
    3. A C-Bus Connection (Airtopia has C-Bus on Board so no extra PCI devices is required).
    4. Optional but highly recommended, Connect a local Temp Sensor, If you intent to use eDLT, Wiser II or Touch Screens, Logic etc. then a Local Temp Sensor is a great advantage.
    5. Optional but Highly recommended, Connect the CT to the Plant Power, If you intend to use Wiser II, Touch Screens or Logic then many more features and functions can be delivered by using the CT.
    6. Follow the simple setup guide, in a few simple steps Airtopia will have control over the HVAC. And be ready to support control and more from C-Bus. http://airtopia.global/download/1043/

    Control the HVAC from eDLT
Airtopia comes with Pre-defined groups for control that are based on the Unit Address that you provide the unit during commissioning. The use of the template file provided is the easiest way to get the best result with eDLT. One Page of the eDLT is dedicated to HVAC control allowing On/Off, set point Adjustment and display of current set point, Mode adjust plus display of current setting, Fan Speed control and status.
Finally, if you using the Temp Sensor on Airtopia you can display the temperature on the bottom of the eDLT using the measurement application and device ID that matches the Unit Address of the Airtopia. OR. If you wish to display Power. Then the use of the attached CT to the Airtopia can enable this.

    Control from Wiser II.
Control of HVAC from Wiser II is quite simple, The creation of a HVAC widget within the project set to the same device ID of the Airtopia (The C-Bus unit Address of Airtopia is the device ID) is all that is required to enable control and status of HVAC on Wiser II enabling remote and local access on Mobile devices .
Additional the use of the CT on Airtopia allows the Power being consumed by the AC to be logged and reported by Wiser II making it possible to provide the customer with energy reports and graphs of the power used by their cooling system.
Both the Power / Temperature and HVAC control is also available to Logic and schedules from within the Wiser II.

    Control from C-Bus Touch Screens.
To Control Airtopia from a Touch screen is also simple, you may import a template for HVAC into the touch screen project, and then simply add the correct un-switched zone to the HVAC manager. Again the Airtopia C-Bus unit address is the communication group number for the HVAC zone, Map each function from the imported template to the correct HVAC communication group and it is done,

Additionally, by using the CT and Temp sensor options on the Airtopia you may also display temperature and power on the Touch screen or use these values within Logic, scenes and schedules.

In summary Airtopia enables simple and relatively effortless level of control over HVAC enabled onto C-Bus Providing advanced controls and functions for your customer without the challenges and high cost of effort.
