I am currently using Toolkit 1.17.7 and have integration with a cytech alarm panel. I have recently added new sensors to the alarm and would like to add the new groups to the security application. I tried enabling legacy C0Bus Applications and Allow user defined applications, but still does not allow me to add new groups.

The security application does not allow groups to be added to it in a similar way to that of the lighting applications.
The security panel depending on how its programmed sends the information to C-Bus via the interface.
Therefore if your new zones on your panel need to do something on C-Bus you will probably have to program that information into the alarm panel.

    Thanks @Wonkey,

The new zones are added already on the alarm panel, they are just not updating (showing) in toolkit.

The security application is a different protocol to the lighting compatible applications, so it has nothing to do with toolkit. (i.e. Zones do not come across as normal cbus groups). You can only access the security application via units the support it like touch screens, the wisers and shac (only via script in SHAC).

Some alarm panels (like the Ness M1) allow you to trigger cbus lighting groups from the panel. I am not familiar with Cytech so I don't know if it has that facility. In this case you create normal lighting groups in toolkit and get the alarm panel to trigger then appropriately.
