access the colored touch screen from the internet

    just a question
    can i access the colored touch screen from the internet to switch on/off
    a lamp in my house and what i need to do that

    please list the requirements (hardware and software) only

    No, this cannot be done. The CTC is heavily locked down to prevent attacks by viruses and so on.

    You can use HomeGate and ServerX to do what you ask.

    do you mean
    if i used home gate and server x i can display this touch screen
    in fron of me and control it from the internet
    or i can not do this job at all

    I'm not 100% familiar with ServerX but Homegate is basically a software version of the touchpanel.

    You could make it exactly the same as your c-touch or you could make it totally different.

    VPN to home, remote desktop to your pc running homegate and away you go.


    Maybe you can run Homegate remotely on your pc at work which connects to ServerX running on a pc at home??
    Not sure. I dont really know what ServerX is for. Personally I would go the VPN method but its not for everyone.

    You cannot remotely access the colour c-touch display.

    ServerX allows access control to cgate and/or HomeGate through an internet connection. It means you don't have to VPN. But you can do that instead if you want to.
