We have a new Library install where the supplied spec is to use C-Bus Saturn switches, SHAC and touch screen to control DALI Lighting. We will be using 5753PEIRL for light maintenance in parts of the library.

I have not used the 5753PEIRL for light maintenance before and I am unable to find notes on how to set this up. (Fine for its other function but not Light Maintenance.)

I currently have a basic system setup on my desk to test the basic operation. I have set a base level for the wanted lux level and placed a sheet of paper over the sensor to simulate light level change. (DALI Gateway is set to match ramp rates).

I am expecting to see light level changes to take place over 4 seconds. This I see when watching the application log but before the 4 second time period has passed there is a group ramp to xxx over 0 seconds. This then seems to cause the system to hunt. I would have expected to see the hunt messages to be ramps over 4 seconds not o seconds.

What is causing the ramp over 0 seconds?

I assume at this stage I am missing something. Do I need to set a pot to set a level and if so what is the procedure for doing so in the final install.

The 0 sec command happens when the light level has been achieved hence if the output is at level 83% then a command ramp to 83% over 0 seconds would hold that level.
In Toolkit ensure you have a reasonable margin set on the light level tab I would suggest at least 10%.
