Can the blue glow from a 5753PEIRL be turned off?

    Nope, sorry!

We've had a couple comments fed back about that, so a product update is planned that will enable the blue LEDs etc to be turned off.

Can any of the seniors report on the blue led status? Is there going to be anything implemented in the software to disable these soon? As the previous questions were posted some time ago.
I too unfortunately installed in each bedroom for the IR function - will eventually create some logic for light control b/w certain times and they are great as a security feature. All in all top bits of gear ...... aside from the blue light.

Units with firmware version 2 allow the indicator brightness to be controlled. On the Global Tab on the bottom-right corner you can assign the brightness of the LEDs to be fixed at the current level, follow the level of Block 1 or follow the level of the PE Cell.

If you want control of the LED brightness from another unit (e.g. a PAC) then set the LED brightness to follow Block 1, assign a new group address to block 1 (call it PIR_LED_Control or something) and make sure your PIR settings are on blocks other than block 1. You will then be able to control the brightness of the Multisensor's LEDs from any other C-Bus unit.
