    Hi,
I have an installation that has a Pro Dimmer 4 channel 5A.

I had two of the channels setup & now these two channels will not dim, only on/off.

Any chance the dimmer is faulty & needs some TLC?

If the mains supply to the Professional dimmer becomes exceedingly crappy for some reason, and the dimmer can't get a lock on the zero-crossing point from the mains, then it switches to on/off mode so that you can at least still get the lights on even though you can't dim them.

The unit stays in this mode until you turn the power supply to the unit off and on again.

Suggest you try cycling the power to the dimmer to get it dimming normally again. If it goes into on/off mode again then I suggest you have a look at the quality of the supply.

While you're there it's also worth checking to make sure someone hasn't diddled with the channel minimum/maximum level settings in the dimmer.
