Hi guys, one question, is there software available to customise the default LCD screen layouts for the 5030URC's to mimic the remote it is learning from?. If so where can I get it from.

    Thanks

    5030URC Software

Thanks Chris, I looked at the sun-wave site and down loaded the software, I had a bit of a play of the software without the USB cable, I think it only lets you change the preset device names and delete or add buttons. I was trying to change the button function names to that of the remote I am replacing with a specific name i.e. "Function", not the pre programmed names allowed for for each button:( . Maybe I'm asking too much, it's a pity because the remote has a lot of potential otherwise.

    Cheers

    Ah yep,

Each button only has a few different displays, I don't think you can do anything about that. (I could be wrong).

Unfortunatly the sceen is not a blank "canvas". It would be nice to have a bit more control over the screen, but I guess thats what PDA's are for.

That's correct, you cannot use your own names for the buttons, you must use the pre-selected names. This is due to the type of LCD used. It's not "open slather".
