I have a job where there will be 240v Siemens AC dampers.
Is there any reason why i couldn't use a shutter relay per zone?

I would use change over relays but i will end up having 3 spare channels on one of them!

I'm aware of some C-Bus installers using the shutter relay for damper control. You need to check if the damper is

...power to open and power to close

    -or-

...power to open and spring to close

You will also need to check the current consumption of the damper... I would be surprised if it is greater than the rating of the shutter relay.

BTW.... Lots of stock of the shutter relay about to become available

    cheers
