I love the new feature to RAMP the levels in tool kit.

    One question

Why does it not put the unit ID of the PC interface as the last unit to set ??

My PC interface is Unit 2 and connected Tool Kit

I change a level (in toolkit) and tool kit says unit 6 did the change (in my case the alarm Panel)

I noticed this too. I have both a CNI and a PCU. I noticed last night that when I was setting group levels via the CNI, the last set unit was the PCU. If I set it via the PCU, the last set unit was also the PCU. Later on though (after a C-Gate and Toolkit restart) it seems to be reporting correctly.

I didn't check if it was also reporting the last unit set as the PCU if I used a lightswitch. I was too comfortable on the couch to get up and walk over to the wall :)

    Mark.

    Hi Charles,

I didn't see this on my PC but we will investigate. Thanks for letting know.

Maybe it only shows up if the network has more than 1 "PC interface type device"

In my case CNI and Alarm Panel.

In Froop Case CNI and PCU

    Just a thaught

Yep, its been confirmed this morning as happening only when there is more than 1 PCI / CNI or PCI-based device present (eg, PCI, CNI, Alarm Panel, etc).

Still not sure of the cause, working on it.

    Hi Charlie and froop,

Thanks for reporting that. This issue (13376) has been resolved and will be in the next release (soon).

In the meantime, there is a workaround. Give your "real" PCI, the one you are connected to, a higher unit address than the other.

Not a problem. It's always a pleasure giving feedback to a responsive development team. Now.. about that rotating keypad feature request from my other thread... :)

This is not restricted to 1.8. My 1.7.3 does the same thing. Change a group with my CNI (at address 0) and it reports that the alarm panel (address 240) was the last unit to set. There is also a PCI at address 230, so its taking the highest of the three. When the PCI sets the address it is reported correctly.

You are correct, it looks like this whoopsy has been there for quite some time.

Anyhow... a fix is on the way.
