Default unitspec files

taking a look at the files in the `unitspec` folder, i note that the device XML files have a `.s` suffix.

these files open as gobbledegook on my machine -- they are clearly encoded or encrypted.

Name: es file.png
Views: 37
Size: 295.4 KB

the first line and the repetitions are eerily similar in structure to standard XML files.

is there a tool to decode them?

They're encrypted. The contents really isn't that useful unless you're Clipsal though as the unitspec files list where settings are kept in the module memory. You should only program a module using C-Bus Toolkit and not mess with it at that low level. You'll void your warranty and may damage the module or break the network if you get a module into an invalid state.
