Hi experts,

I having a headache in IR capturing. please help....because i have more than 100 pieces of IR module (E5034NIRT) need to capture the IRs and pump the codes in. :confused:

During the capturing of IR (IR Reader), there is always an "interval error" appear. :confused:

Is there any special tecnique to capture the IR?

We find you can get more succes learning IR codes depending on the machine you are using. I think desktops tend to be better than laptops.

There is an update to IR Reader going through QA at the moment, I'll chase it up and push it through. IR Reading has been worked on to try and make it more robust for a wider variety of PC hardware.

Be aware that most laptops have IR transceivers built into them. If your CBUS IR reader is located close to the laptops tranceiver, you will undoubtedly receive errors from the interference.

Try turning your laptop's IR port off, before attempting to read codes. It would be wise to eliminate any other possible source of IR interference in the area, before using the reader.
