I have HomeGate V3.9 which was used to run the heating and lighting at my old house. I moved out of there a few years ago and for a while didn't use HomeGate at all - now I've dug HomeGate out again to start to build up a control system again and have hit an issue...

When I run HomeGate on my PC which has the latest versions of PICED and Toolkit installed I get the error:

Could not connect to C-Gate at 127.0.0.1
(The connection to CGate was cancelled as CGate failed to meet the connection requirements
Connection was disallowed for the following reason "You have connected to CGate version 2.8.0, this software requires version 2.6.x").

Is there any way to get V3.x of HomeGate working with the later C-Gate?

Cheers

Phil

The old HomeGate will only work with the old C-Gate.
