Hi Everyone,

Having some dramas with a Black and White MKII Touchscreen.

In the project details wizard, on the options page, under the cbus tab.... my touchscreen is being re-addressed to GA 0.

It is a GA 1 on the local network in toolkit.

This is a multi-network site with 5 networks and a local network.

I'm running toolkit 1.11.4 and piced 4.9.2

Any ideas??

Pretty sure this is just a PICED issue, the screen is actually not re-addressing itself. It's only an issue if you plan to try and download to the unit over C-Bus.

Correct.

This is issue number 20504 and will be fixed in the next release of PICED.

I have experienced this issue. I have just udated from 4.9.2 to 4.10 and the unit address is now as expected.

Was this causing any problems? I have had problems on site with a PACA unit which has had me question com ports (see post http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6986).

I will be returning to site to finish this job and hope that updating from 4.9.2 to 4.10 will solve this communication problem

It will cause problems if you try and download your project to the unit over C-Bus, but shouldn't cause problems otherwise. Certainly update to PICED 4.10, test it out and let us know how it goes.

Software update resolved the "visual" problem with the unit address number defaulting to 0.

As for the other confusion, my bad. Was in the mind-set I had programmed logic to "set scene" when in fact I had just selected a lighting address called scene set to on. Added the lighting address to the scene trigger, then it all worked
