Hi there,
I'm about to develop the "Install New Unit" function that V2 has for the V3 software.. just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on improvements in the way it works? Additional scenarios it should cover etc..
It would be nice if the "install new unit" feature would grey out each unit row once used so that duplicates couldn't be inadvertantly programmed.

can u make a global template that updates all units new and optionlly existing units - such as power fail restore, color of lights etc.
its a real pain having to do it a 100 times on a new job

another thing i would like to see is two user classes that have
admin - can change everthing
user - only change some things
this is becoming more of an issue as we get users who now want to do changes themselves, like changing the switch layout, going from dimmer to on/off
but i want to stop them changing "debouce" settings etc

Greetings
I cannot recall if it was talked about on this forum or elsewhere.
What would be nice is to be able to cut and paste across projects.
There are things like running the bathroom fan along with the lights etc that are common to a lot of work. Being able to cut and paste would save entering the same data each time.
Or even "modules" ie user built "Scenarios" that could be included as you design.
If the modules were exportable then they could be passed from user to user. E.g "Here is how I generated the theatre lighting. (Attachment Theatre.cbm)"
Then you could start a library of routines.
