Ramp times on wireless

Hi guys,

Was looking through toolkit tonight and noticed that wireless units dont have a field for the ramp 1 and ramp 2 times.

Considering all the Ramp style key functions are still offered, you may want to look at this one...... :rolleyes:

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the post.

If you select "Ramp" as a Key Function you can set a Ramp Level and Ramp Rate. Its just not shown on the Blocks Tab at this point.

The Blocks Tab on wireless will be extended in the very near future to include lots more.

However, perhaps i should have explained the key functions as they are not standard ramp commands....

I have set the key funtions up as follows:

Short press : Idle
release: Ramp recall 1
Long press : Idle
release : Ramp recall 1
Double press : Off key

With this custom setup the little "more" button is not shown.

The move away from a global time has some good potential though. :)

FYI, wireless has moved away from the idea of unit-central ramp rates.

Every command, on every key, has between 0 and 1 parameters - these might be ramp rate, timer duration, etc. The wireless firmware is significantly more flexible in this regard (and many others).

The difficulty (challenge) for duncan and his chaps is that it makes the presentation in the GUI more difficult, and unfortunately things slip thru the cracks now and again.
