View Full Version : SchedulePlus CGate Error
Hi
After upgrading toolkit to version 1.10.0 SchedulePlus V3.9 wont work because it cant connect to c-gate. It keeps coming up with the following error.
you have connected to cgate version 2.7.0 This software requires 2.6.x
What can i do to sort this out.

We will look into this.
For now, your only choice is to roll back to an older version of C-Gate. This can be done by installing an older version of C-Gate. If you are needing the new ToolKit (1.10), you will need to have two copies of C-Gate; an old one for use with Schedule Plus and a new one for use with ToolKit.
You should be able to do it by following these steps:
1. Install an older version of ToolKit (for example, 1.9.3)
2. Copy the C-Gate folder. For example, copy C:\Clipsal\C-Gate2 to C:\Clipsal\C-Gate2_old
3. Install new ToolKit
4. Use the following to start the old C-Gate when required:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\java.exe -Xmx100m -jar C:\Clipsal\C-Gate2_old\cgate.jar
Note that you will not be able to have both copies of C-Gate running at the same time.

FYI, Darren, the same situation exists with HomeGate V3.9 and the new Toolkit 1.10.0 install - error message saying C-Gate version 2.7.0 is installed but 2.6.x is required.
