I had a toolkit running, connected to a PCI via a Lantronix MSS100. While the software was running, I pulled the power cable from the MSS100 and put it back in again.
I later tried using toolkit, and toolkit gave no warnings about anything being wrong, but it failed to communicate with the cbus network. Looking at the cgate output, it was complaining that it was unable to talk to the MSS100. However, the MSS100 was up and running, but I guess cgate was using references to the original socket, now defunct.
It would be nice if a toolkit user was told about such failures. Nicer still if cgate could auto-reconnect as well.
