I have only just tried serverX on a Win 2003 SBS Server. I cant get it to work (it installs fine after I changed all the Java installs) but I am now not sure if I need Homegate or Sched + to actually make it work on the server.
Some docs seem to suggest it just uses C Gate directly, others imply it needs one of those two pieces of software?
Anyone?
Hi lorenthehaloboy
ServerX is capable of connecting to either C-Gate alone or S+/HomeGate. As long as Server is running you should be able to connect to it and log in, with or without C-Gate or S+ running. There are a series of menus and configuration pages for ServerX alone.
If you aren't capable of connecting to the ServerX server through an internet browser start looking for things like firewall settings and IP configs.
PS ServerX should be installed on the same PC as C-Gate/S+.

Matty

You can use ServerX without S+/HG buy writing your own JSP pages.
