the export function does not export the tag levels correctly see attached pics, it puts a single level with the tag id as the level.
why do the backup files go onto the desktop, can they be put into a directory on the hard drive like v2 does as i want to transfere via floppy and email to other workers on site.
why not just zip the xml file - saves reinventing the wheel

Hi Dave,
This appears to be a problem with V2 project manager. It is supposed to convert all exported groups and levels into TAG file, but misses some levels. We can't promise a quick fix for that as ideally this would require changes to V2 Project Manager code, but will be investigating farther.
BTW, why did you need to export project to V2?

Backup files get created on the desktop at the moment as we had a request from some users to implement it that way, but will review this concept if more people think that enabling directory selection is a better idea. Currently you can handle CB3 files on desktop as any other files, i.e. copy to other locations, cut or paste, etc. And yes, CB3 file is in fact ZIP archive :)

Talking about backups etc.
V2 had a projects folder as defined in the cbus.ini file. This allowed you to put the project files basically anywhere on your network and also allowed backing up of the project files without having to create a backup.
Where does V3 keep the project files?

Toolkit keeps the project files in \clipsal\c-gate2\tag
